An important area of strategic cultural development in Detmold is the topic of “Diversity, Openness, and Participation.” But what does this actually mean? How does this topic affect the various areas of work in culture? Together with Eeva Rantamo, this topic was developed and discussed at the 2nd Future Table for Culture on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Hangar21. Through her professional input, cultural professionals were able to reflect on their own situations and collectively find solutions using concrete tools.

Eeva Rantamo is a cultural scientist and has worked for many years as a lecturer, project manager, and consultant for cultural mediation, intercultural competence, plain language, as well as inclusion and accessibility in cultural institutions, education, and tourism.
