As the year draws to a close, the Culture Club will meet one last time this year on 8 December 2026 to reflect on the past year and look ahead to the future over hot drinks, Christmas cookies, and good company. Anyone who wishes is welcome to bring cookies, gingerbread, or other small treats to share.
This time, the focus will be on a short film created through a collaboration between the International Short Film Festival and Lebenshilfe, an organisation supporting people with disabilities. Following the screening, those involved in the project will share their personal experiences and be available for questions and conversation.
The Culture Club is a casual networking meetup as part of Detmold’s cultural development planning – perfect for anyone interested in the city’s cultural life, who wants to share their own ideas, or just drop by to get a taste of it. It’s a great opportunity to make connections, present projects, and forge future plans over delicious drinks and friendly conversations.
Come by, bring your ideas, and let’s rethink culture together. No registration is required – just drop in, join the conversation, and get involved.
