All those active or interested in culture are warmly invited to join a tour through Detmold’s cultural scene on Tuesday, 27th May 2025, at 5:30 PM.
Our Kulturspaziergang (cultural walk) will take you to six exciting stops where culture is actively lived and shaped.
We’ll start at the OWL Literature Office in Haus Münsterberg (Hornsche Straße 38). From there, we’ll stroll on to “das delikat,” a space for art, culture, and education, make a stop at the Detmold Adult Education Center (Volkshochschule), visit the Kunstquartier on Krummen Straße, and take a look inside the Aula der alten Schule (auditorium of the old school) at the Wall. We’ll wrap up our tour at the Klangwerkstatt of the Ensemble Horizonte on Gerichtsstraße.
The walk is part of the Culture Club, an open networking format within the framework of Detmold’s cultural development planning. At its core, the event promotes exchange between cultural professionals, associations, institutions, and everyone passionate about art and culture. Along the way, you’ll gain exciting behind-the-scenes insights into cultural venues and have plenty of opportunities to chat, connect, and perhaps even spark new ideas and joint projects.
