All those active or interested in culture are warmly invited to join a tour through Detmold’s cultural scene on Wednesday, 17th September 2025, at 5.30 PM.
Our Kulturspaziergang (cultural walk) will take you to five exciting stops where culture is actively lived and shaped.

The starting point is the Lippisches Landesmuseum with its event space (Ameide 4, 32756 Detmold). From there, the tour continues to the Junge Theater of the Landestheater, the Fürstenzimmer at the train station, and the new cinema Kaiserhof+ run by Kino und Kultur Detmold e.V. The final stop is the studio of artist Axel Plöger, where everyone is invited to get creative every week.

The walk is part of the Culture Club, an open networking format within the framework of Detmold’s cultural development planning. At its core, the event promotes exchange between cultural professionals, associations, institutions, and everyone passionate about art and culture. Along the way, you’ll gain exciting behind-the-scenes insights into cultural venues and have plenty of opportunities to chat, connect, and perhaps even spark new ideas and joint projects.

Taking part is easy: The event is free and open to everyone. Just show up, join in, and network! Registration is not required.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to visit all the cultural venues in Detmold during the walks, as they often do not have the capacity to accommodate a larger group of people. One of these places is the production and work space of Jens heuwinkel – Sauresani Theatre (Am Eichenpohl 18, 32760 Detmold).
