The City of Detmold is continuing its cultural development planning with the Fourth Future Table Culture and warmly invites all interested parties to take part. Following the Third Future Table in 2025, which focused on cultural education, this next step will move forward with a concrete review and further development of cultural education opportunities in Detmold.

The aim of the event is to take a closer look at Detmold’s cultural education landscape, to make existing offers more visible, and to identify future perspectives. Key questions include: Who is offering which programs? Which target groups are already being reached? Where are there still gaps in what is available?

The Future Table is intended to create a shared foundation for strategically developing intergenerational cultural education in Detmold. At its core, the process will map and connect existing activities while analyzing needs and potentials.

To make the results more tangible, they will be recorded live through graphic recording and finally presented in a single visual overview that highlights the current cultural education landscape in Detmold at a glance.
