During the Future Conference on 18th and 19th August 2023, various topic groups came together to discuss different aspects of the future of culture development in Detmold. One of these topics was the networking and cooperation between cultural creators, politics, and administration. Among other things, the goal is to better coordinate and align cultural offerings.
One of the proposed measures in this area was the development of a digital platform to facilitate exchange. Additionally, the aim is to make existing space offerings in Detmold more visible and to simplify the networking for the use of these spaces.
The new website of the Cultural Development Plan created exactly this digital platform. On the website, you will find not only listings of cultural institutions and associations in Detmold but also the current space offerings for cultural use, as well as a summary of the goals and proposed measures that were documented during the Future Conference in August 2023.
